Very fitting that you would post this particular story at the time of Imbolc. A charming little glimpse into the backstory of Luna and her mama - and then the ending... oh, the ending. How dreadful for a child to see.

It IS indeed something NO child should EVER see. I'm so sorry for Luna. She is my favourite character.
I have no idea what Imbolc is, however, I will Google it up.
