Yep., that's very much canon Hermione, though in a bit different environment given all that has happened. It's going to be quite interesting to see how the Blood Elves evaluate the on-going events in England; Umbitch could destroy any chance of wizarding England surviving Voldemort if she got "lucky".

Yeah, I was going to take that part away from her but then, she wouldn't be the Hermione we all know. Oh, politics between Shahriar, Umbridge, and Fudge. That ain't going to be pretty. :D
