Very nicely done, meshing the two worlds together. The magic/tech clash (aka 'fry') is a nice touch, as is the possibility of non-human witches and wizards.
I wonder what they'll find on Vulcan?
And...I'm also wondering if Fawkes couldn't flash Harry into the Gringotts catacombs? That would solve one problem (and perhaps more, if more books could be recovered from the vaults of families long-dead).
