If not I kind of felt it "turned" rather quickly and a bit abruptly for such a long set up.
An epilogue perhaps would be nice to bind it off for me at least.
It's hard to swallow the cruel cold calculating nature of Valeck all the sudden ending with just the sudden demand of one person, you know?
It was an interesting story. Not my cuppa, but I loved the first two chapters. It was enough to get me to read everything so far.
