Not a bad little story and you have set this up well enough for more than a few chapters. but you write what you want to.

I probably could stretch this out to the end of the year, with Voldemort's return and everything. But, since I already plan to do that with my other fic, Yule Ball Debauchery, I'm afraid it would become overkill, trying to write the same scenes two different ways.
