Most excellent premise!
"Perhaps Harry was just unfortunate enough to find his life being controlled by the worst sort of wizards."
That summed it up for me. Finally some one called out what a trainwreck the "responsible" adults were in the HPverse. It made for a good story, but thank God it was not real life.
