Review for JEDI POTTER

JEDI POTTER

(#) Disruptor 2010-12-27

Well, Harry's revenge for the Valentine stunt was interesting and the repurcussions.

The honey joke went a bit far, but still....

Habenero peppers? Hot, but not up to the Diablo Pepper(looks like a cherry tomato). Bread with cream cheese spread can counteract the burning from peppers most of the time. Although I'm not going to try Pure Cap(10++++ on the heat scale). Still that was a pretty nasty prank that Dobby pulled.

What an idiot that moron Draco be. I'm surprised the Board of Govenors has not removed him from being a prefect.

Whew. The Deez realize that Carolyn is a major target. Greyback? There is a thing that needs to be removed, along with that new were you just introduced. Amelia's comment before she left was intersting and did show that she undersatnds the problems that the new tactics will cause.

At leasst Sybil isn't totally useless and does care about passing her knowledge down.

I do hope Arabella regains the memories of her children and grandchildren and maybe Harry can arrange a meeting between them and Arabella.

It looks like Harry got the Longbottoms out just in time. Dumbly's back up plan has backfired. I wonder about 'cure' that Snape has.

Author's response

Heya Disruptor.

Since all the sex in this fic is kept off-screen, I wanted to give a little taste to the readers. 'sides, she did prank him first.

~The honey joke went a bit far, but still....~

Oh, I don't know. I've seen jokes go a lot farther than that and still be OK.

Habeneros: To me 350,000 on the 'burn yer arsehole out' scale is hot enough for me. I know there are hotter peppers, but most of them are considered deadly weapons.

On the other hand, who deserves a severe case in indigestion more than Ol' Voldy?

Draco: I wonder what Draco would have turned out to be like had he been raised by the Weasleys?

Anyway, Dumbledore is protecting him. While the board is mostly aligned with Amelia, he still has a bit of influence. He could argue that it's so late in the year it would be counterproductive to remove him because of a 'minor dispute', or other such tripe. He is Dumbledore after all.

Deez. it was a lucky shot. While it makes sense to me, fortunately Voldemort does not recruit for brains. Equally fortunate, the guy who came up with it, was in the group of captured Deez.

Amelia's warning was just that. It wouldn't do to get to comfortable. As sun Tzu said: "All warfare is based on deception."

Greyback will meet his end at the end, and one of his first victims will be there to watch.

Sybill is a problem for me. In canon, she's basically useless. She believes she's more than what she really is. On the other hand, one of the finest teachers i ever kjew, hd no credentials. h wasn't teh brightest nor the best trained, but hehad a dedication to his art that made him an excellent teacher. with Divination, if one has the gift it can be trained, but without that gift, you'd be better off studying something else. Rowling had Harry take Divination for two reasons. First, he kept the slacker company, and second, she wanted a way to introduce the prophesy to Harry.

I pulled her out of Dumbledore's clutches to keep her alive, but by allowing her to wake, Harry's opened a huge can of worms. I'm still undecided about what to do with her. If i can find a way to neutralize the compulsions, (Teresa has a good one) I might put her into the castle, but honestly, she has no real, definable function. I'm heavily leaning towards tanking her.

Arabella will regain her memories, but it won't be soon. As I indicated, it took years to do the damage. trying to undo it in one day is like going on a crash diet.

Any meeting will have to wait until after the war is over.

Longbottoms: they've been safe for a month. Harry got them out in early January. he anticipated a military threat and took the necessary measures to eliminate it.

The problem with Dumbledore is twofold. When he's left on his own, he plans big plans and lets the details fall to the side. When he's called on it, he makes batter plans and anticipates the need for backup plans.

His back-up plan for this, will be someone we all know and hate. Remember, he's also not-so-slowly losing his marbles.

The potion. Though there is little to support it in canon, in fanon there are references to anti-cruciatus potions and the like. I figure if anybody would need to develop such a thing, it would be Snape. Hell, he could sell it to the Deez after an audience with hizzonor.

Simply put, it was a lie. Dumbledore want's the hospital to release the Longbottoms to him and unless there was a compelling reason, they would not.

Well, until next time...
