Actually, from what I've observed, I think that '3' rating on the main page is frozen for all time, as it was only accessible when the story was a single chapter. Which sucks, if I'm right, but at least he didn't shut the site down when he got tired of it. Though I wish he'd open-source the code so somebody else could clean it up so it worked like one would expect, with the chapter-ratings average added onto that first-impressions rating. One change-flag added to the database for each story, set whenever a rating changes, and then a periodic background process that goes around updating flagged totals.
Meanwhile, back at the fic, this was very much a fun chapter. One doesn't often see Slytherins depicted as real people, but I can't really see the other three houses behaving like this, so it was both insightful and in-character. Maybe Oren is getting a handle on relationships this time around... if he can only avoid blowing his fool head off messing with that Horcrux. Well done. Keep going.
