Oh, dear, another OC in a somewhat sparse, ensemble piece. I have yet to see any fanfic author pull this off without wrecking the story.
So far, no huge problems with this story -- which is really more a loosely related series of scenes. Maybe you'll be the first.

You do know that in typical, or security-conscious browser installs, that the characters you are using don't render, right? All we see are unicode-error markers.

Actually I think that has to do with what fonts are installed -- the most common font that has that character is, according to one survey, only installed 67% of the time. Darn! In any case, that's still really helpful information, and I'll try to find some characters with better font support.
