You are not the only one reading and trying to figure out where you are going. It is original though.
Are you writing train of consciousness? Or is it an actual outline?

I actually have extensive notes on where the story is going -- overall, subplot-by-subplot, and character-by-character. So while I allow for the chance of characters surprising me, if they don't, I know what is happening a decent ways in. The story _is_ supposed to be complicated, though!
The specifics of dialogue are made up as I get to them. I'm not sure I can fairly say anything is stream of consciousness.
