Beautiful. One of my favorite things about this story is that the characterizations are so consistent. Gracia is a housewife, but she's not a dumb, blonde, baby-making machine. Hughes isn't a den mother and Mustang is suffering from PTSD, but is still -himself- and not Mr. Emo.
This story is a shining example of what an instinctive writer can do. There were some grammar nitpicks, but not enough to detract from my overall enjoyment of the story. I've added "The Ally" to my favorites list.
