Unrealistic and out of character for both Harry and Hermione. Your readers obviously love this travesty but I'm gone with a bit of bitterness that you couldn't even manage to warn readers where you were going with this fic.

I welcome all criticisms, suggestions, questions that don't involve spoilers, and comments.
However, the story is quite planned, and every pairing is already quite well thought out.
I apologize if you were misled, but the story is marked as 'alternate universe' and lists the pairing as Harry/Multi. I thought that made my intentions clear, but apparently it has not, so in light of that I have changed the pairing to Harry/Harem.
I am sorry if you are disgusted by my choice of pairing Harry and Hermione but I and many others honestly believe there is enough evidence in cannon to support a realistic alternate universe where Harry and Hermione end up together.
Though I am loathe to admit it I sometimes find the 'one big happy Weasley family a little trite, though I think it's a grand ending note on a story cultivated from myth and fairy tales.
However, this is not a realistic alternate universe. This is a Harem fic, it is outlandish and it treads into territory far outside the lines that many people consider "normal behavior" both Muggle and Magical ;). While I want to tell a good story it's also a smut fic, and on some levels an excuse to have a number of pairing in one fic.
That being said my own devotion to the books requires me to follow cannon lines, and not so far out of character, based on my make take of the characters as represented in the books.
We are aloud to disagree on this interpretation.
That being the case I wholeheartedly agree with your decision to stop reading. This fic will go places you don't want it to go.
I can also appreciate those who want all the eventual pairings listed before the fic even begins. My plan is to add the pairings as they happen in the story so that as an archived finished story people can search it better.
At the moment I want to preserve the mystery of the ending. Doing a lot of build up and knowing the resolution ahead of time seems counter productive.
So, in all of that, I'm sorry we disagree and that the story is not to your liking. I can only write the things that I like and hope there are enough people out there who agree with me.
All that aside...
It was a nod to the movie. I happen to like the movies. I do not consider them cannon, but I appreciate them enough to reference them, especially if it is an embellishment on Rowling's work as opposed to a plot deviance. That conversation Harry and Ron have about Ginny and Hermione's skin is "The Office" level uncomfortable hilarity.
I have read the books and listened to both versions of the audio books I have lost count. I have those books MEMORIZED.
Do not doubt my love of this world, for it is deep.
When I write I keep a page open with tabs to the lexicon time-line, and wiki's. I occasionally take a break from writing to browse forums to read other people's takes on characters for inspiration.
Nothing like a heated forum debate about Dumbledore's true motivations to spark the writing bug yeah?
