Good story so far. but, tell me why HP is so cold toward Granger? I mean, they were friends at Hogwarts, right?

At Hogwarts HP was sorted into Ravenclaw, Hermione into Gryffindor, so they have no house ties which would facilitate their friendship. Also, they are the two stop students in the year and fiercely competitive with eachother, so they have years of built up resentment between them. In their last year they were head boy and head girl respectively, and so had to work with eachother alot, which only aggrivated things as each one of them always thought that they were right.
Of course, this is just school rivalry - I wouldn't go so far as to say Harry hated her, as is evidenced by his shock at her death.
