In some ways I think it's good that Pete has agreed to try and get along with Gerard. But then again, how will Mikey ever see how wrong what Gerard did to him was if Pete can't tell him, because he has to be kind to Gerard?

I agree with you; Pete being nice to Gerard could be a good thing, but Pete can't openly declare how wrong Gerard was if he's agreed to give Gerard a chance.
