This chapter was more readable although paragraph spacing has been abandoned for some reason so it looks worse all crunched up.
The most puzzling thing is that Dumbledore actually asks Harry about the Defence teacher and Harry isn't bothered. Makes no sense. Why didn't he tell him that Desdemona refused to teach them? Last year all the kids were so furious that Umbridge was not teaching them Defence properly they formed Dumbledore's Army. This year Desdemona isn't teaching them anything at all and nobody's concerned. Does that not seem odd to you?
