You've really got the voice and pacing of the series down. It's almost like this was straight from the book, but was edited out for some reason. Makes me want to dig out the book and make sure this really wasn't part of it. It was very intersting to read about his last moments. Thank you for sharing this fic, I very much enjoyed reading it.
