This was definitely not a failure!!! I thought it was actually amazing!! It was really sweet. Frank was so lovely in this, but he was very unsmooth about hiding the fact that he loved Mikey. That's a good thing, though. It really enhanced the mood of the story and showed us exactly how much Frank really loves Mikey. Also, over protective Gerard is awesome! Anyway, throughout the whole story I found myself smiling when Frank was explaining all that he liked about Mikey and feeling sympathetic towards him when he explained why he couldn't ever admit it and then, towards the end, mentally scolding him about ignoring Mikey. And then, of course, sighing happily when Frank mentions being boyfriends and they finally confess their love for each other. Making someone feel so many emotions while reading are true signs of a wonderful author. I also really liked the little details in it, like how Mikey sleeps with his knees tucked into his chest and his thumb in his mouth (he really can't get any cuter) and how Matt was always the last to know or figure something out. I laughed when Frank threw the pillow at him and Matt spilled coffee all over himself, yet he was still making fun of Frank for being in love with Mikey. This was wonderfully written. It was funny when it needed to be, sweet when it needed to be, and made you feel sorry for the characters when you needed to. Also, I really liked the summary. I smiled immediately upon reading it. Anyway, wonderful job. I love this!

Thank you very much; I'm extremely glad you don't think it was a failure!
I was kinda aiming for sweet with this, so it's good to know that that came across. Frank definitely wasn't the best at hiding his feelings in this, was he? I wanted that aspect of things to make it clear just how much he's in love with Mikey, so I hope that worked alright in the story.
I do love me a good ol' overprotective Gerard, good to hear that you do too!
I'm super pleased that this made you feel so many different emotions, I was worried that it just seemed rushed/inconsistent, so it's a relief that you think it's a good thing.
Thank you so very, very much for taking the time to leave such a detailed and helpful review, it really does mean a lot to me! :D
