I'm telling you cliffhangers are important, it gets people wanting more faster hence they comment for more.
Or that's what I go for anyway.

I love how the little girl saw him and waved. Were you playing in to the fact that children seem to have a deeper 'sense' of what is around, supernaturally speaking?

Hehe... yeah but it doesn't really get me more comments. o.0 I think it's because my stories are so mild to begin with.

I'm glad you picked up on that! But yes, I feel like the more untainted someone is, the more aware they are to what is around them.
