You should ask him out. The worse that could happen is him saying know. Also you could write a story about you and him or him and then change the names. Self teaching guitar is hard, I'm self teaching myself how to play the guitar, but I already play bass so it's not that big of a leap, it's just chords. But you'll do great, just keep practicing and good luck :). Update when you can

Thank you! The idea fo the story is smart and I think I'll use it! I'll start writing my next chapter now! Thank you and I will also go play a little guitar! I want to learn bass but i don't have a bass guitar! :) anyway thank you for your help and I'll probably speak about the whole boy situation another time and say how that's gone! :)
