I was reading this and my wife asked me why I was crying..
the naming ceremony. the feeling of those there and not there.. remembrance of my grandson's birth and how I would have liked to bring him to my dad..
there's a quote here somewhere:
"you know it's a good book when you turn the last page and feel as if you've lost a friend"
that's how I feel.
