Fun stuff. :) Perhaps most people wouldn't call this fic 'fun,' but Death Note seems to attract us like-minded people who would. I enjoyed it greatly. I'm a sucker for dialog without quotation marks (there's just something so classy and dream-like about it). I also like your tight control over the pacing--you're able to control the flow of information so that we readers aren't quite sure what's happening till the very end. That can get annoying, but it works here; it mimics L's uncertainty and confusion, makes us feel for him.
