Backstory: she was raised in a rich family. When BLI/nd took over, her family immediately took the easy way out and joined. She didn't know that they joined, so she escaped, with no clue that they joined. She joined the Killjoys, and was very high matinence. She butted heads a lot, and she only stayed because she was already in it.
