Remember FicWad? Yeah, it was a WRITING site.

When I used to write really bad things, I at least got feedback. The occasional good job, and constructive criticism, and people telling me what my strong suits were and how to work with them.
As someone who at some point wants to get published, feedback and opinions are pretty crucial, because it's good to know what people think is good, and what someone has noticed needs improvement. I look at diary posts, and auditions, and all sorts of not related to anything ever posts and they get 59 reviews a pop, and a 5 rating in SOMETHING when it's just some idiot smashing their fingers against a keyboard and saying something of hardly any relevance to writing. It's honest dribble, yet they get more attention than some VERY talented writers on this website.
I'd hate to see you go, but if you must, you must. It was a very long time ago when this was written, and though this kind of thing has improved slightly within the website, I still do agree it is a problem.

Though LiveJournal doesn't bring much attention to writers as far as I've noticed, and neither does fanfiction.net. DeviantArt is okay, but there are a lot of really bad writers that get positive feedback and attention when good writers do not.

Nowhere is safe, I suppose. XD
