I very much enjoyed the parallel thoughts/ actions of CoCo and Patrick in the beginning, the "flirting" bit. Very entertaining. ;)
This was a looong chapter and that´s just perfect because the tons of dialog and quoting of thoughts works super for your great characterizations.
"Well, obviously I couldn't stay when you were leaving with a look that your puppy just died on your face," -> I had to read that twice because the first time I thought a puppy had died ON HER FACE. ;)
Blah, blah about Joe and Andy. Who cares about them? ;)

I've decided to have longer chapters because then my story won't be 30 chapters long...well, I don't expect it to be.
Yeah, that sentence you pointed out is kind of confusing now that you pointed that out. Ooops, can't win them all.
