Well, it looks like Naruto's reservations toward incest are lessening quickly, which might be good news for Kushina. I'm guessing she'll be one of the '???' chapters you've planned in the lastest update for planned chapters.
I really like what you did with Mito, making her the typical fun-loving Uzumaki and allowing her to let her hair down after holding back for so long. I'm hoping that Mito will meet Kiyomi and Kushina soon. On a side note, I just had an interesting image of her being ganged up by all the Biju in bed, with the tailed beasts having their way with Mito as pleasurable revenge for her involvement in sealing them ^_^.
I am a tad more ambivalent than others about the Anko issue. While I'd be sad if she left the harem (though that doesn't mean she'd cut bridges with Naruto as they'd probably remain friends), it may be beneficial in order to further Naruto's increasing maturity. One of his lines in the manga, the 'I don't want to cut bonds with others and I don't want others to cut bonds with me' one, annoyed me since it was a display of both immaturity and selfishness. It shows that the canon Naruto only sees his side of things and does not truly care about what other people want - as such, he'd rather force people to stay instead of letting them go if they wish. Therefore, trying to regain Anko's favour when she wants out would clash with the new Naruto you've been building. I'm not saying he shouldn't try, but if it doesn't work, he should face the truth and call it quits. In the end, it actually depends on how serious Anko is, and not on how hard Naruto will try.
A minor problem with the ever-expanding harem is that we lose sight of some characters for too long. You do give us glimpses sometimes, like the scene with Karin in Suna last time, but it looks like even you are losing track of everyone. The biggest example is Kin - even though she's not in the harem, we have no idea what she been doing. Others things I can think of, how Naruko is adjusting in Konoha, how Koyuki is developing Spring to help Naruto's ambitions, or Hinata's spreading influence within her clan. Maybe you should shift your limelight series to show us more of what's going on, instead of focusing on one character everytime.

Author's response

Thanks for the review and comments. I tend to agree with you about the cutting of ties simply because in order to maintain a bond you need both parties to be interested in doing it. Kind of like with Sasuke and him. No matter how much Naruto wishes to maintain that tie if Sasuke isn't interested then it still can be said to have been cut.

As far as the losing people of the Harem goes well that is something I have to disagree with. It isn't that they are lost just their parts of the story aren't necessary to move the main story forward. But a few of the characters you mentioned will be stepping up in the main story soon. While it would be great to spend time on every character that would make these chapters over a 100,000 words long. Sometimes you have to pick and choose who to focus on and certain characters lend themselves to that better than others.
