This background piece was both interesting to read and useful.
I find it interesting that Regulus was close to both Sirius and Andromeda, the only two likeable Blacks, and only later made darker friends/models. It was not stated clearly why he had switched sides at the end of the first war in canon, but that gives a very plausible explanation.
I can't help but notice that 1992 is Luna's first year. Will she be the ravenclaw you mentionned or will said ravenclaw be her friend? Or not at all?
I find the parts about "nervous-looking flock of white-coated medical students carrying clipboards" and "a nurse or doctor (sometimes accompanied by gawking students) would poke at him" hilarious!
I can't wait to see more of this story!

Yep, Luna and this character I have yet to refer to by name (due to spoiler reasons- don't worry; you'll know very soon XD) will indeed become friends! :D I have some editing to do on the beginning of the next chapter, but it should be up pretty quickly.
