Wonderful. The pin scene is completely original, and that's rare in fanfiction.
Zabini would already know that Potter's parents died, so his "didn't your folks tell you" reaction caught me up short.
I wish we knew just why it's so important for Draco to court Daphne. That's not a failing, just to say that my curiosity is really high on that point.

I think that Zabini, being an 11 year old boy, would tend to forget the fact that Harry's parents were dead. Children tend not to think about those things.
