Well, that's pretty much what Mary Sue's known for, right?
You may be pleased to learn that at this very moment an owl is winging its way toward Hogwarts with a message for Mary Sue. It's an offer to appear in some sort of anime fic about somebody named Naturo(sp?) or something. They liked her fashion sense and her style, apparently, and they're making her an offer she just won't be able to turn down,
That leaves Harry stuck in a do-over fic where the author has no clue where the plot is headed. As usual, it sucks to be Harry.
Hermione showed a glimmer of spunkiness, so who knows? She's a clever witch. Maybe she'll think of something, plot-wise.
BTW, at what point do you feel the story went astray?
