To the End of the World . . . and After

You did it. You really did it. The end of the world. Game over, man!

"“About two and a half hours ago, every nuclear weapon on Earth was exploded, as well as numerous deadly gas and other weapons. With the exception of the area around Jump City, every population center on Earth of over about forty-five thousand people was hit, and a few hundred smaller concentrations in some areas. At least thirty percent of the world’s population was dead within seconds, and over two thirds of the rest should be dead within an hour if they aren’t dead already."

gah

I'm clearly not up to date with my DC; I never read much of Waller but I thought she was just a bureaucrat, not evil.

So, the evil five live for eternity? As trusted lieutenants of Trigon. Doesn't sound too bad?

Author's response

Game over for one Earth (not the first time an Earth has been destroyed in the DC universe)

As for Waller, my understanding of Cadmus is that they actively worked against the JL at least after the Justice Lords story arc, seeing them as more of a threat than a help. As for the five, well, in the end, they are damned.... Of course, the Joker would likely still enjoy himself!
