Whilst I don't care for the mental image, the idea is excellent. And I don't blame Snape for both declining the earlier offer of "counseling" and being offended (and probably hurt) by it. I mean, really, who wouldn't be hurt, and offended by the suggestion that the only way the could have sex is if their partner was paid?
