I have to say I have a theory about how ghosts are able to do anything. Including remaining on Earth (at least in the Potterverse). It comes down to my suspicion that the more powerful magicals somehow retain some of their magic after death. It might be possible for a ghost to use that little bit of magic do do small bits of wandless magic for small things like turning pages and whatnot
