This is the last of your three VS stories that I read, so this is the one I'm reviewing, though I liked them all and for the same reasons.
I like that you've taken the little used characters - Merlose, Joshua... and in your other stories, Samanthat, Tieger and Neesa - and done something interesting with them. There are so many people involved in Vagrant Story, and so many points of view to explore. I also like that you've shown of snippets of the life that some of the characters are leading after the dust has settled. Because it doesn't all end with Ashley and Sydney.
These are, all three, very nice and very thoughtful, atmospheric stories.
