That was a nice chapter, focussing on friendship and trust. I've always thought that Harry had a huge hole in his emotional balance, one that Hermione and Ron have done a lot to fill.
Harry's response to those Ministry toadies was well written. It is an indication of his power that, even at just short of his sixteenth birthday, he is already able to intimidate fully-trained Aurors.
I thaink that I've already told you that I like your view of Hermione. However, I especially liked Emma's heart-to-heart with both kids. Loving and caring without being demanding or controlling.
