The perspective seems to shift in this. At first I thought that it was from Inuyasha's POV and that you/her referred to Kikyo/Kagome, but the "dog beast that you are," suggests that the "you" refers to Inuyasha. It could stand to be clearer.

It's all from InuYasha's POV. After killing Kikyou InuYasha goes mad, hence why he starts refering to himself in 3rd person.
