Excellent story, it gave me something to distract myself with for several days (which was a good thing) now I can't wait to see it updated.
As for a critical assessment (because that's what a reviewer should be doing and not being fluffy "OMG THIS IS SO GOOD! UPDATE" which I have been doing to much lately): I find this really sad, which can be a good thing, but maybe add a little humor here and there, though I will admit I did find the last few lines of chapter 31 pretty funny and the whole idea of the Skeeter interview in the same chapter made me laugh a bit. I also enjoy your characterizations. When you said in the summary that it makes you rethink the Potterverse, I thought you were being a bit arrogant, but I find that you weren't really and this really does make me rethink the Potterverse. Also some of your Author's notes have left me thinking about the way that most fanfic author's depict certain scenes.
You've taken canon and fanon and turned them completely on their heads, spun them around a bit, and put them back together.
