I do have to wonder if any of Harry's apparent friends really are his friends. I could see Neville, Luna, and perhaps Ginny as real friends, but it's obvious that Ron and Hermione aren't, at least in this story.
It starts to look like Tom and Harry may well be able to work out a modus vivendi at the very least, if not an alliance. I don't think Dumbles is going to appreciate all this truth coming out at all; tough for him.

An alliance is formed truely and they work out the logic that is dumbledore... Harry's been keeping alot of secrets from everyone while he puts 2 and 2 together and gets the right number... He even gets to explain his own logic of the situation chapter 12 or so I believe.
