first of all:

About a half hour later, Ryan found himself knocking on Helen's apartment door, a container of hot chicken noodle soup in hand, with a smile on his face.

Because its comming from the formerly purely self centered Ryan, this was just about the cutest thing in the world and it made me "awww" outloud. not even kidding.
Secondly, I really enjoyed the character development of Nicole, and how protective ALL of Helen's friends are. Its like...Helen is in this beautiful world of ideology, and her friends are in reality, which is slightly darker and are therefore sort of Helen's protectors throughout life, because Helen's type is so rare and EVERYONE appreciates that about her.
I'm proud of Ryan for apologizing, and of Elle for accepting and offering the job (even if Helen DID put her up to it, it had to have been partly Elle's choice).
I am also going to find myself thinking "What would Helen do" from here on out. it will be stuck in my head at random moments XD.

For real. I find myself anticipating your reviews. They make me smile and you are one of the few reviewers who tell me what you liked particularly out of the chapter. And I absolutely love that. :]
And, I also like how much you understand what I'm trying to get at. Like, how all of Helen's friends feel the need to protect her, because Helen lives in this world where she thinks that everyone is good and there is justice among people, despite the TRUTH about reality. And everyone knows that everyone WON'T turn out to be the good-guy after all, which they feel the need to protect Helen from, so she won't end up as cynical as everyone else. Because, everyone does appreciate the fact that Helen's type is rare.
Ah, yes. It was very good of Ryan to apologize and for Elle to offer him the job (which was partly her choice, BTW.)
And I'm so very glad you like this story. When first writing it, I feared people were going to not like it. But, I'm relieved to see that people do enjoy this story. :]

Oh and also, i love that you do the replies to reviews! it makes the reviews seem worth while, like you're actually taking them into consideration.
Not every author does and its really annoying because you don't know if they even bothered to check their reviews.

Oh yes.
I love the reviewers/reviews wayyy too much to just leave them without responses. Seriously, they make my whole day and after reading reviews, I feel so giddy and have this big, stupid smile on my face. They mean a lot to me. You have no idea. :]
Ah, I agree about when the writers don't respond to the reviews. It does get rather annoying. :[
I mean, if someone takes the time to review, then the writer should at least take the time to respond.
Nonetheless, I'm glad you like the story and take the time to review.

Awwwwwww! That was pretty much the cutest chapter ever! I love how Ryan is changing for the better. You make it seem so real!

I love the way you describe the characters!
And in the authors note, on chapter 4, i think it is, i love your adjectives! And when you said no one wanted to read this, i totally disagreed! This was great, what i just wrote is total shit compared to this! (I dont think im that much of a writer, im trying though) haha. great job!Author's response
