Forgotten Souls

Take away the pain of the night
when the shadows meet the light
and nothing seems to be right;
the thrumming of their heartbeats
they all seem to meet
in a melody of broken drums;
yet nobody knows the answer to why..
There seems to be pain this night, and..
Why?
The shadows have to meet the light, and..
Why?
Nothing ever seems to be right...
There heartbeats break apart
slowing down more then falling of departure
when they raise their heads, the despair shown
brightly on their faces......
And then the moon of forgotten souls has
risen once again......
as there ashes blow away.....
