Well, the STeam worldline sounds like an interesting one, though I'm not sure whether or not the failure to develop other power technologies is a good or bad thing. Meanwhile, it sounds like Harry on the home line is getting ready to go to war in every way possible; you can almost hear Heather Alexander's "March of Cambreath" quietly playing in the background as he does so. I suspect Tommy-boy and his lackeys are going to be rather unpleasantly awakened to the sentiments of those lyrics (q.v.). ::chuckle:: I just googled "March of Cambreath" and found that someone did "The Order Fight Song" as a filk to the "March"; wicked!!

On the down side, there were enough spelling and word choice problesm ti annoy my "beta" side but it's still an enjoyable read.

I hope to see a more detailed background history of the steam world as well as a discussion of the factions in that world. What is the status of other nations in the world? How did Briton keep its empire in that world?

"He did not plan on taking prisoners."

Anytime Harry says something like that a good story follows.

    Please get a beta.

Also, why isn't Harry mad that his family's employees never made themselves known to him?

I echo AnnF: Please get a beta.

This is an interesting story and deserves to be tweaked so it is easier to read.

I do think that Harry deserves a better explanation as to why he was never contacted by a retainer or the goblins pertaining to his family and history.

Outstanding chapter. I love how this story is going. As for the mistakes, I can live with them. If I was paying to read it then I would expect perfection.
