  Well, lets just say that the plot is going all right now and then you put someone else as Harry's father.....no need of it whatsoever, its a very dull plot device unless it has a very, extremely good reason, so if you're up to the challenge go forth, but if not, then keep James as being his father. Just my 2 cents.
