  I am in awe of anyone who takes the risk of writing a MoB fic. This is such a complex story that when it's done right it's worth mentioning.
  
  I liked the detailed and complex story. It was interesting.
  
  Out of curiosity do you know if Naoe ever took the form of a female? This was a pretty convincing fic. Great effort.

  Ohh, agreed! Would never have attempted it if the person I drew for a Secret Santa project hadn't gone ahead and asked for the impossible. g
  
  I've never read the novels, but the friend for whom I wrote this said, I think, that it was never explicitly stated. 'Course, she's only halfway through the series herself, so there's always the possibility that Kuwabara will come out and tell us about Naoe and Kagetora starring in 'Lives of a Geisha', etc. XD

  This was beautiful. The setting, the atmosphere, you can imagine it playing in full colour and sound in front of your eyes. And since it's such a pain to search for MoB fics, spread the word. Your take on their story is more than worth to get a lot of attention, and people will thank you.

  Oh wow, thank you. That's wonderful to hear. I'm not really connected with the MoB fandom -- are there really so few stories? o_O It's a difficult fandom to fic for, granted, but the people who like it seem to like it a hell of a lot; what are difficulties in the face of true fangirl passion? XD
  
  (I've heard, btw, that Corialis has written quite a bit for the fandom. ^^)

  Ooohh, so glad I didn't mess up the characterizations! Everything I know about Mirage, I learned it from Sabina, actually, so any kudos should really go to her. XD

  This was wonderful! The power play between Naoe and Kagetora, the various ways in which they tried to bring the other down...I think you captured their relationship really well.
  The only thing that felt a little off to me was Kagetora's playboy behaviour. ~looks sheepish~ I haven't read the novels myself so everything I know sans the anime is second hand but I'm sure I read somewhere about Kagetora having a dislike for sex in general.
  Aside from that I really really enjoyed reading this and thought the writing was really beautiful. Everywhere I looked there were gorgeous passages like this, "the certainty in those words held the weight and solidity of tidal waves, massive and ponderous and unable to support anything despite that" and this "Kagetora in this incarnation is much like himself in every other -- slim, strong, a newly-forged blade still red from the smelting. Like the tiger of his name, unremarkable amongst the foliage, until the instant when focus shifts and he's suddenly splendid and shining, emerging from the shrubbery with jewel-bright eyes." I really hope to read more of your writing in the future.

  Beautiful. Your use of words was incredibly ellegant and utterly perfect. There was nothing cliche, or overdone, and the character details fit exactly. It was new and fascinating. I can truly see that as being a part of their long and twisted history.

  Good MOB fic is so hard to find, so this was a pleasant surprise. From the OAVs we are used to seeing Naoe's less than kind behavior towards Takaya, with this little snippet of their past we can see why he behaves the way he does. Truly a wonderful piece.

  loved it. Especially that there are so few MoB fanfics. The idea was great and the picturing of the subsequent relationship too. Great job.
