I gasped. Gerard pulled away slightly and looked at me. I pulled him closer and held him tight so he couldn't read the expression on my face. "Gerard... why? Why do you think about me in that way? How long?" I whispered, finally regaining my voice. "About 6 years now. I don't know, you've just always amazed me. You're so beautiful and talented and funny-and-and-I'm sorry, I should never have told you. You're gonna hate me." I didn't want to hurt Gerard so I decided to lie slightly. "It's okay, Gerard. i feel the same." I tilted my face towards his and kissed him softly on the lips.
