  Very good, very different. I like the concept of taking the usual cliches and turning them on their ear, there are far too many 'accepted' truths in fanfiction these days. Keep up the good work.

  This is one of the best fanfic's i have read in a looooong time. You have done so many things that really make the story feel real & relatable. I have to say, i enjoyed reading this more the 7th hp book. & I love HP. So congrats and thank you for such an amazing job.

  Thanks. Glad you've enjoyed it. I actually finished this story a while ago, but I was having problems posting at ficwad, so I stopped trying. I'll post the finale by Wednesday.

  Very well written and highly original story. Keep up the good work. The only thing I have a problem with is the number of major character deaths, too many and they lose their impact in the story line. I hope for am update soon. cheers

  A fair point about the number of character deaths, but I was attempting to depict a violent and brutal war. Glad you enjoyed it.~Jim
