"Can you belive that it's the last day of Summer." Brooke announced laying upside down on my bed
"No! I am so not ready to be a High School girl." I practically screamed
"Zoey take a chill pill we are in this together remember."
"I know it's just what if we don't have any classes together."
"Well, that will be the moment of truth when we go to orientation tonight." She said sitting up right now
"I'm just happy I have a Junior as a brother, and he can drive us there and help us out."
"Ya, that's what counts." She said with a laugh
"I mean Brooke what if there is a hot guy and my brother being..well, you know, well known around the school he could totally hook us up."
"So.. your saying that we have to be nice to him?" She said raising her eyebrow
"Yes Brookie." I said throwing a pillow at her
"Uhh.. fine but i'm only doing it for the hot guys." She said throwing it back at me
There was a knock at my bedroom door.
"Who is it?" I asked
"Jake. Are you and Brooke ready to go?" He asked threw the door
I run to open the door
"Ya. We are ready." I say with a sigh
"Zo there is nothing to worry about your big bro has your back."
"That's nice to know.. are you gunna fight my battles?"
"Well, depends on who i'm fighting." He said in a boxing/punching kinda way
"Ok then lets go." Brooke said hedding to the car
"I so can't wait til I'm sixteen and get my license." I say getting in the passanger seat
"I know then you can take us to school." Brooke said happily
"Oh, so you don't want to be seen with your older brother?" Jake asked a little hurt
"Naw.." I say ruffling his hair a bit
We arrive at the school a little early for we can catch up with some friends.
"Hey V!" I yell
"Hey Zo." She says running over giving me a big hug
"Wow, I havent seen you all summer it seems like."
"I know I've been with my aunt and uncle in Greese." She said with an eye roll
"I've always wanted to go to Greese." I said a little excited
"It's pretty and all, but it gets boring with out anything to do."
When she got done saying that Brooke walked over.
"Vanessa!" She yelled
"Brookers!" She yelled back
"Ahh it's so nice to see you again."
"You too."
After our little love fest there. We found our other friends and hugged and talked with them until I hear my name being called. I looke back and there is a group around my brother.
"Looks like your Man is calling you." Brooke says breaking out in laughter
"If you call Him my man again I swear you wont be waking up tomorrow!" I say looking at her evily
"Ok fine.. Sorry." She says still with a hint of laughter
I walk over to my brother and his idiotic friends.
"What?!" I asked yellingly
"Brock wanted to give you a "Welcome to your new School" hug." Jake says
"Uhhh.. I'll pass." I say starting to walk back
All the sudden i'm being tackled.
"I said I'll pass Brock."
"Well, I didn't want to pass." He said letting go
"Uhh.. you annoy me."
"Is it because i'm just to good looking for you."
"No, it's the thought of me and you together."
"Well, you never gave it a chance sooo... it's your loss."
"A good one at that." I say heading over to Brooke who is going into the auditorium
"Where are we going to sit Brookie." I say looking at the seats
"Hmmm.. there is just so many places." She said sarcastically
"OMG!" I yell at her
"What!"
"There HE is." I say pointing to Blake
"Are you still all chocked up about Blake?"
"No, I-i- was just pointing him out cause there is empty seats over by him and his friends."
"Would you like to go sit over there." She asked
"I mean if you want to.. but we don't have to."
"Come on let's go." She said leading the way
We get over to the empty seats and sit down. Lucky me stupid Brock found me and sad right next to me.
"Brock!" I whisper yell
"Yes."
"What are you doing?"
"Sitting next to my girl. What else?"
"Umm... well last time I checked I wasnt your girl." I said
"Just you wait Zoey... you will end up going out with me this year." He said getting up and leaving
"Wow! That boy is in love with you Zo." Brooke added
"Tell me something I don't know."
"Ok let's see did you know that the capital of Alaska is Juno?"
"No, I didn't know that." I said with a chuckle
"Hey guys." I hear
"Oh hey V." Brooke says
Vanessa sits down by Brooke.
"Have you seen any hot guys?"
"Not really. But wait til tomorrow." Brooke says
"What do you mean not really?" I hear someone say sitting behind me
We turn around to see that it's Boston one of Blakes' friends.
"Oh Boston I totally forgot about you." Brooke says sarcastically
"You know you love me." He says with a proud smile
"Ya anyways. I say cutting in. " How was your Summer?"
"Same ol' same ol'." He said
"That's nice." I say turning back around because the principal of the high school is talking
"Ladies and Gentleman I would like to welcome you to our school."
We sat there and listened to him for about an hour before he said that we could get our scheduals.
"Ok momentum of truth." I say to Brooke
We both flip our Scheduals and compare.
"OMG!" I say
"Dude this is great we have like 5 classes together." Brooke says jumping up and down
"I know lets go find our classes." I say searching for my brother
"Ok Jake. Brooke and I have our first 5 classes together so, this should be easy."
He showed us all our classes then we left. We dropped Brooke off at her house.
"Bye Brooke don't miss me to much!" I scream out my window as we pull out her drive way
"I'll try not too!" She screamed back
We pull into our drive way. After about a couple of hours I decide to go to bed because it is getting late and I want to wake up early. I have to look good and make an impact on my first day of high school. The thing is i've been laying in bed for about an hour and I can't go to sleep because of the knots that are forming in my stomach. I just hope tomorrow goes perfect.
