After Brooke left the next day. Sunday was just boring I mostly layed up in my room. I didn't have any homework because it was the first week of school. Soo, I walked over to Jakes' room still in my pjs' and asked if he wanted to v.s in guitar hero. Of course he said yes. That's like his favorite game.
"I am so gunna beat you!" I yell at him strumming the bar
"Oh, little sis, I do not think so." I said smiling
"Ya, just watch."
He freaking won of course.
"Jake I hate you. I'm rolling out this joint."
"We only played one game though?"
"Ya, I can't handle this anymore." I say walking back to my room
NEXT DAY
I decided to go comfy today. I decided on a pair purple Juicy sweatpants and matching hoodie. With a white tee under it. I also decided on a pair of purple Ugg Zebra print boots. I walk out my room and head down stairs. I go and sit on the coach and wait for Jake to get done. I turn on the tv to Encore. Yay, Sixteen Candles is on. I flippin' heart this movie.
"You ready Zo?" I hear Jake ask
"Umm.. ya sure." I say mad cause I have to leave my movie
Brooke and I head to our lockers to get our stuff.
"I heard we don't have to dress out in gym today." I told Brooke
"Yay." She said doing the happy dance
"I know right."
4th period came around fast today. That's the period Brooke and I have gym. I was right we don't have to dress out we are just playing basketball.
"Brooke let me see the basketball."
"Ok." She hands it to me
"Brooke. I'm about to show you something not even my family have seen." I say
"What?"
"I'm about to be Zac Efron."
She starts cracking up.
"Haha. lets see it." She encouraged
"Ok. Her we go."
"Coach said to fake right
And break left
Watch out for the pick
And keep an eye on defense
Gotta run the give and go--o
When I started to sing the next part Jimmy walked in and I fell on my butt. He looked at me and smiled then he left.
"Zo. Are you ok?" I heard Brooke ask
"Ya.. fine.. I just made a fool out of myself in front of Jimmy." I said fake cyring
"It's ok he didn't laugh he.. smiled."
"Uhh.. why do I always have to be an idiot."
"Do you want me to answer that?" Brooke asked
"It was retorical Brooke."
"Oh my bad." She said with a chuckle
The bell rang and Brooke and I headed to lunch. After we got our food we sat down.
"Zoey." Brooke said
"Ya."
"I just heard your name come out of Blakes' mouth."
"No way." I said a little louder than intended
"Yes way. I think they are taling about the movies and stuff."
"Then how did my name get into the mix?" I asked curious
"Maybe he wants to ask you to the movies this weekend." She said nudging my arm
"That would be wicked."
"See if you can hear anything else." I told Brook
"Umm.. it's definately you he just said your last name. Now he's talking about gym. OO he seen you fall. Then he said he's gunna ask you out Friday."
"What!?" I questionally asked
"Ya, he's totally gunna ask you out dude."
"Friday."
"Yup."
"This is bomb!"
"Soo.. are you gunna say yes?" Brooke asked
"Yeeeah.. duhh."
"I thought you were gunna ask Brock out? And what about Jimmy?" She threw at me
"Well, Brock will always like me so... thats when ever and Jimmy he's just like some dream that's never gunna come true." I said
"I guess what ever floats your boat."
"So, I wonder when he is gunna ask you?"
"Hmm.. maybe it will be after school."
"Or one the phone,text,computer,brother,friend." Brooke started mumbling on
"I totally forgot that my brother and Blake were friends."
"Ya, remember Jake went to his house and played some video games with him and his friends."
"So... he could totally ask me out by my brother if that makes any sense. I mean why wouldn't he just do it himself?"
"Maybe he's a little shy or just feels more comfortable doing it that way." Brooke adds
"Ya, your totally right, if I were to ask Jimmy out I would do it by my brother."
"See that's logical."
"Totally."
