  Very, very nice little one-shot.
  
  Touching and showing a mother's love for her child regardless. It touches a thought I have had that Merope didn't desert her son but only gave him over to the only choice she could see when the time came.

  I must say, that I am touched. It's actually (pre HBP) believable. Either way the battle ends, I could see the loser's mother coming for her baby. Beautiful.

  Very nice! And very unexpected. First that it wasn't Harry. And secondly, at least for me, that it wasn't Draco.
