  So it was called the Year in Hell, huh? No wonder. Well, about your story: short, sweet... funny. :) Little bit too slapsticky for something that's from Sliders, but it's a quick joke.
  
  I liked the "...should stop talking to yourself" line. Subtle humor there.

  Yes, "Year of Hell," just like on Star Trek: Voyager. It was Jason Gaston of The Slightly Warped Website who popularized the expression. Three was undoubtedly their worst season.

  I can understand why ff.net banned script stories. LOL This may or may not be funny, but it did not seem in character with the show. Maybe it degraded that much between broadcast and cable. However, this was bare bones. Even when scripting, there has to be set up. There is no set up in this: no background, no scene descriptions, no set descriptions. It was like eating a meal with no food. Perhaps some filler is needed.

  Perhaps this one could have used more work, but that's no reason to dispense with all scriptfics. It would be like a site banning all drabbles or all one-shots just because a few people posted bad ones.
