"Dad... turn around now!!!" I screamed a bit. Dad just laughed as he parked the car in the school carpark, "I don't wanna start school!!"
"Too late... come on, it'll be fun!" My Dad was telling me all this crap about how good my day will be. I'm sure it will be... PFFF!! The first day at a new school is ALWAYS the worst day! I should know! We've moved so many bloody times!!
"Come on... out ya pop!" Dad was being quite serious now.
I opened the passenger's door, placing one foot out onto the dusty parking lot. I looked back at dad, trying one last time. He just stared back with a face, telling me that there was NO way i would be able to stay home today.
I took a sigh... picked up my green and black checkered bag from underneath my feet, and hopped out of the brand new Honda Civic Hybrid.
"Bye hunny," my dad gave a sarcastic smile.
"Bye," I gave a bit of my evil stare, as I closed the car door.
I watched him drive off... out of the school boundaries.
I turned around, to see the giant school. I've been to many schools, though this one has been the biggest school I've ever been too out of all! Buildingwise and peoplewise!
I closed my eyes for a few seconds, took a deep breath in, and took one slow step at a time toward the school.
I had only made it in the gate, and already, students I passed were giving me awful looks, throwing things at me, just staring at me. I felt really embarrassed and uncomfortable! Thanks alot dad!
Though it was not all groups of students who gave me evil faces... some were nice, and even smiled... and didn't stare! I was hoping there would be some nice people in the school!
I walked on a bit further, and found a row of long seats next to a wall... they seemed alright...
I sat my ass down on the old, brown chairs and watched the people around me. I clutched my schoolbag close to me... i don't know why but I did.
Thankgod the school bell rang only 2 minutes later. I thought of what class I had first... dance! I mezmerized my timetable thismorning, and I'm really glad I did!
I rushed to room 95, which was upstairs on the 4th block. I entered the room, with my bag still clutched into my hand.
Most of the students looked at me weirdly, others laughed, others just stared. The teacher even stared at me weirdly for a bit.
I just let out a breath of air, as I walked toward the teacher, looking at the ground all the way.
"Well, I suppose you are..." She took a paper from her desk and read something, "Ahh... Katie Rosery. Welcome! I'm Mrs.Borrelor" She gave a big smile and pointed to the floor where everyone was sitting down.
I took myself over to the floor, and once again, sat my ass down with my bag right next to my feet.
I'm so glad Mrs.Borrelor told me to sit down... not having to stand up infront of the class... introducing myself... doing all that a twentieth time.
"Now... Katie... we've just started on a huge performance we're going to perform at the end of the term! You came at the right time! We've been needing a main dancer actually... no one will do the main part!" She looked at the students lamely, then looked back at me, "Would you be able to do the big part?"
I would never have thought I'd say yes to such a thing! But I did. I'm the main dancer! The main person in the performance!
Oh! My! Lord!
But I'm as shy as everyone else in the room!
The only reason I took it though... was because I thought it might give everyone in my dance class a good impression of me. Plus, there was just something in Mrs.Borrelor's smile when she asked me... I know it sounds corny, but it just gave the good feeling that maybe, just maybe, if I do this big dancing act, that maybe something spectacular will happen.
