((A/N - It's a little crappy and the rhyme scheme is kinda weird even to me, but I wanted to get feedback and I just started a poetry elective for school so I'll use it anyway :D))

The World Changes

Red and yellow, green and brown
The world changes colors
As they drop to the ground
Painting a picture for all to see
I watch the trees
Change all around me

Mittens and jackets, ice and snow
The biting cold arrives
And all will now know
Of winter's embrace
And bundle up tight
Awaiting its grace

Pink and blue, purple and red
The frost fades away
And the warmth clears my head
The flowers bloom bright
And I watch the clouds drift
The birds pass in flight

T-shirts and beaches, flip-flops and pools
A time to have fun
Away from school rules
Freedom abounds as this
Season comes and goes
Our time filled with bliss
