Finally realizing that I'm drowning myself. Ever felt trapped inside? Like all the walls are closing in on you? Welcome to my reality.

Lost

Lost inside without a notion,
My actions pushed by my emotions,
Losing sight of my surroundings,
Ignoring the words of those around me,

Inside of me, it's pouring rain,
Consumed by biting, angry pain,
Bound by rage and hopeless sorrow,
I can't see a clear tomorrow,

Tired of hiding behind a mask,
No one cares, so no one asks,
Will brighter colors hide my pain?
I don't want to feel this shame,

Relieved only by quiet silence,
I don't tell, 'cause it seems childish,
Don't share my sorrows, I hold them in,
Silence is my heroin
